Chapter 375

Victoria clutched Gregory's arm, her face a mix of fury and despair. "Gregory! Evelyn learned nothing but wicked tricks from that countryside upbringing. Even after getting into a city university, she's still strayed from the right path! All she cares about is scheming her way into high society!"

Her voice trembled with indignation. "When she saw Cassandra had caught Nathaniel's eye and was about to marry into the Graysons, that jealous little snake snatched the opportunity right from under her! After Cassandra left the entertainment industry for marriage, her career never recovered—and now, even her chance at a good match is gone!"

A sob escaped her as she wiped away bitter tears, heartbroken for her beloved daughter.

Gregory's expression darkened as he took in his wife and daughter's distress. From the moment Amelia started explaining the situation, his frown had deepened, a slow-burning rage simmering beneath the surface.

But unlike Victoria and Cassandra, he was more cautious. His sharp eyes studied Amelia—this well-dressed, poised woman who had appeared out of nowhere with such damning information.

"Who are you?" he demanded. "Why do you know so much about the Graysons? Why come to us with this? What's your motive?"

Amelia had anticipated this. She smiled smoothly. "Does my identity matter? I simply can't stand watching Evelyn take what isn't hers. I came out of goodwill, hoping Miss Cassandra can reclaim what rightfully belongs to her."

She placed a pre-printed note on the table—the address of the Grayson estate. No handwriting to trace.

Cassandra snatched it up, her face twisting in outrage. "Dad! This is the place! Remember when I followed her? She lied—she wasn’t working as a maid there! She stole my future, my husband!"

Gregory's last shred of doubt vanished. He slammed his fist on the table. "That ungrateful wretch! How dare she betray her own sister like this?"

Cassandra's chest heaved with resentment. She had lost everything—her career, her status, her chance at wealth. The injustice burned like acid.

"You have to make this right, Dad! Evelyn ruined my life! She turned this family upside down, stole my future, and now she’s living the high life while I’m left with nothing!"

Victoria wailed in agreement. "I’ve tolerated your favoritism before, but this? This is too much! She can’t just trample over Cassandra like this!"

Gregory's jaw clenched. After a tense silence, he spoke, voice low and dangerous.

"Don’t worry. Tomorrow, we go to the Graysons. That treacherous girl will return every single thing she stole."
