Chapter 170
Evelyn's mouth was taped shut, but her wide eyes and muffled sounds caught the man's attention.
She needed to speak to him.
The kidnapper—a heavyset man—considered her request before yanking the tape off. He'd only silenced her to prevent screaming in the city.
Out here in the wilderness, no one would hear her anyway.
The moment the tape was gone, Evelyn inhaled sharply. "Since you know threatening Nathaniel won't work, why not just let me go?"
The man snorted. "Let you go? After all this effort?" His gaze raked over her. "You're a pretty thing. Maybe we should have some fun first."
Evelyn smirked. "Fun? Sure. But untie me first. I don't enjoy being restrained."
Her cooperation stunned them. The kidnappers exchanged glances, unsure how to react.
The leader narrowed his eyes. "Don't try anything, sweetheart."
She blinked innocently. "What could I possibly do? You're all so much stronger than me." Her lips curved. "Unless... you're scared of a helpless girl?"
He grinned, licking his lips. "Force isn't my style. I prefer willing participants."
Evelyn sighed, feigning disappointment. "But these ropes ruin the mood." She lowered her voice. "Let me be honest—I used to work a special job to pay for school. I know how to please men." She gave them a knowing look. "And I promise, you've never experienced anything like me."
The men erupted into laughter. "Oh yeah? Where'd you work?"
"Twilight."
Their eyes widened. "That high-end club in the city?" The leader licked his lips. "Untie her. Let's see what a classy escort can do."
One of the men eagerly loosened her bonds.
Evelyn stretched, rolling her shoulders before flashing a sultry smile. "So... where should we begin?"
The leader pointed to a nearby crate. "Right here."
She pretended to hesitate. "Here? With them watching?"
His grin turned predatory. "They won't just watch. They'll join."
Evelyn gasped—then giggled. "Even better. The more, the merrier."
The men stared, stunned.
"This innocent-looking girl is wild!"
"Perfect! I like 'em feisty!"
Evelyn sauntered forward, undoing a button with deliberate slowness. The leader's breath hitched, his hands twitching toward her.
Impatient, he reached for her shirt—
And she moved.
Her knee slammed into his gut, sending him crashing backward, retching.
The others froze, grins vanishing.
The leader wheezed, clutching his stomach. "You bitch! Kill her!"
They lunged.
Evelyn didn't flinch.
One by one, she dismantled them—twisting wrists, sweeping legs, snapping bones with brutal precision. Soon, they were groaning on the ground, broken.
She stepped on the leader's chest, rolling her wrist. "Let me clarify. Twilight is a high-end club—but we don't offer those services." Her smile turned icy. "I trained their security team. Taught them how to handle scum like you."
The men whimpered, staring at her like she was the devil.
And for the first time, they realized—
They'd kidnapped the wrong woman.
