Chapter 260
"I'm not moving my car! What are you gonna do about it?" The purple-haired girl sneered at Evelyn, sizing her up with contempt.
That's when she noticed Evelyn was... stunningly beautiful. The realization only fueled her rage.
Still, she assumed Evelyn would be an easy target—too fragile and meek to stand up to her.
A wicked idea struck her.
She unlocked her phone mounted on the selfie stick and went live instantly. Her demeanor flipped like a switch as she played the victim for her audience.
"Help me, everyone! I'm being attacked! This old man and this girl smashed my car for no reason! Now he's faking an injury to extort me! Look how they're bullying me! sob sob—"
She deliberately angled the camera downward, ensuring her viewers couldn't see her illegally parked car blocking the tactile pathway.
Evelyn stayed silent while the influencer spun her lies. First, she helped the blind elderly man to a safer spot away from potential harm.
Then she turned back to confront the influencer.
The streamer's twisted narrative grated on Evelyn's nerves. Without warning, she snatched the selfie stick, snapped it in half, and hurled both pieces—phone included—far into the distance.
"MY PHONE! MY EQUIPMENT!" The influencer's shriek of rage shattered her victim act. She rolled up her sleeves, spitting venom. "You're dead, bitch! I'll destroy you!"
Her manicured hand swung toward Evelyn's face—only for Evelyn to catch her wrist mid-air and twist it backward.
"ARGH!" The purple-haired girl squealed in pain. "Let me go!"
Evelyn arched an eyebrow. "Beat me? You'd need decades of training to land a single hit."
Despite the pain, the influencer hissed threats. "I have millions of followers! They'll hunt you down for this!"
"I don't care if you're the queen of influencers," Evelyn countered coldly. "Parking on tactile paving? Shoving a blind elder? Let's see how many followers stick around when they learn what trash you really are."
The streamer faltered, realizing Evelyn wasn't bluffing. "I—"
"Last chance," Evelyn's voice turned glacial. "Move. The. Car."
"I'll move it! Just let go!" The moment Evelyn released her, the influencer scurried toward her vehicle—but her eyes burned with vengeance.
Spotting the broken selfie stick, she seized it and lunged at the blind man with its jagged end. "This is for damaging my car, old fool!"
Evelyn reacted instantly. A swift kick sent the influencer sprawling.
The deranged woman scrambled up, face twisted in fury, and charged again with the makeshift weapon aimed at both Evelyn and the elderly man.
