Chapter 261

Evelyn reacted instantly as the purple-haired girl lunged at them again. Her body moved before her mind could process it, arms spreading wide to shield the blind elderly man behind her. She braced herself, ready to strike if necessary.

Without warning, a group of men in black suits materialized, encircling Evelyn and the old man. Two of them swiftly restrained the enraged girl.

The influencer with the purple hair thrashed violently, shrieking, "Who the hell are you?! Let me go!"

The leader of the men shot her a chilling glare before turning away. He approached the elderly man and bowed deeply, concern lacing his voice. "Sir, we've been searching everywhere for you. Are you hurt? The young master is frantic with worry."

The old man huffed. "That boy keeps me locked up like some prisoner. I just wanted fresh air."

The guard sighed. "He only wants to keep you safe, especially with your condition."

Straightening his posture, the elderly man crossed his arms stubbornly. "Since when does a grandson dictate his grandfather's life? It should be the other way around!"

The leader hesitated, then pulled out his phone. "Sir, we've located him. Yes, by Yonder River. Understood."

Minutes later, a sleek black limousine glided to a stop nearby.

The guard captain rushed to open the door, revealing a tall, impeccably dressed man stepping out with effortless grace.

He moved like royalty, his tailored gray suit accentuating his commanding presence. The crowd that had gathered gasped—this was the kind of man who belonged on magazine covers, not in their mundane lives.

Every step he took sent pulses of excitement through the onlookers, his aura radiating power and sophistication.

"Grandfather," he said, his voice deceptively soft, "if you keep sneaking out, I'll have no choice but to relocate you to a secured retirement facility."

The elderly man turned his milky eyes toward his grandson, unimpressed. He tapped his white cane sharply against the pavement. "Try me."

The man in gray merely smiled, though his gaze remained cool. "You know I keep my word."

A tense silence stretched between them. The old man knew better than to push his luck—his grandson was every bit as stubborn as he was. And the thought of being confined to a retirement home was unbearable.

Clearing his throat, he gestured toward Evelyn. "This young woman saved me from some lunatic who parked on the tactile paving and shoved me. You should thank her properly."
